Tot Time (Ages 2 and under):
Our Tot Time class is for parents and their tiny dancers under the age of 2! Using sing-a-long songs and fun props, your little one will be introduced to a variety of music and movement concepts. This class consists of circle time songs and exploration time using tunnels, hoops, balance beams, etc. to work on socializing with friends and strengthening motor skills. Class length is 30 minutes long once a week.
Creative Movement (Ages 2-3):
Our Creative Movement class will introduce your child to the magic of dance. Imagery and games are used to encourage exploration of movement to music with a focus on coordination and flexibility. Sing-a-long songs and stories are used to enhance their class experience. Class length is 45 minutes long once a week.
Pre-Ballet (Ages 3-5):
Pre-Ballet introduces children to the magic of dance while introducing a little more structure than our Creative Movement class. Imagery and games are still an important part of this class helping children explore simple ballet movements that emphasize creativity, posture, strength, flexibility and coordination. Children learn to interact with others in a fun and nurturing environment while gradually learning the discipline that is required in a ballet class. They will learn simple dances to popular children’s music that will delight them and their parents, and as their attention span increases, they will be able to learn dance patterns and rhythm. This class is 45 minutes long once a week.
Tap and Tumble (Ages 3-5)
Jazz and Tap (Ages 3-5)
This combo class includes Jazz dance fundamentals like isolations, stretch and strength concepts, coordination focusing on front, back and sides of the room, and movement style. They explore rhythm and sound patterns as well as basic tap terminology during the tap portion of their class. Class is 45 minutes long divided into half Jazz and half Tap.
