Dress Code
Creative Movement
Any leotard and canvas or leather ballet shoes. Tights in either pink or flesh tone are recommended but not required. Hair pulled away clean from the face. Skirts are allowed unless they become a distraction to the student. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Pre-Ballet
Any leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas or leather ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. Leotards with attached skirts are allowed, but separate skirts are not allowed. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Tap and Tumble/Jazz and Tap
Same as Ballet dress code and black tie tap shoes. Tap shoes should have elastic instead of tie ribbons. Hair secured away from the face. For Tumble classes, please have convertible tights with a hole in the bottom. Tan slip-on jazz shoes for Jazz and Tap.
Fundamentals I Ballet/Jazz
Light pink leotard with an attached skirt, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Tan Slip on Jazz shoes (no laces) for Jazz.Hair secured away from the face into a bun. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Fundamentals II Ballet/Jazz
Light blue leotard with an attached skirt, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Tan Slip on Jazz shoes (no laces) for Jazz. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Level I Ballet
Eggplant leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. No ballet skirts or leotards with attached skirts. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Level II Ballet
Tropical green leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. No ballet skirts or leotards with attached skirts. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Level III Ballet/Pointe
Royal blue leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. Ballet skirts are allowed for Pointe classes only and must not be longer than 13 inches. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Level IV Ballet/Pointe
Red leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. Ballet skirts are allowed for Pointe classes only, but must not be longer than 13 inches. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Level V Ballet/Pointe
Black leotard, pink or flesh tone tights and pink or flesh tone canvas ballet shoes. Ballet shoes must be the same color as tights. Hair secured away from the face into a bun. Ballet skirts are allowed for Pointe classes only, but must not be longer than 13 inches. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Pilates- all Levels
Same as Ballet dress code. If students choose to bring their own Pilates mat, mat should be ¾ to ⅝ inches thickness.
Jazz, Broadway, Turns and Leaps- all Levels
Any color leotard, pink, tan or black tights. Leggings or athletic/dancewear shorts may be worn if they are fitted and a solid color. Dance bras, crop tops and athletic shirts may be worn if they are fitted and appropriate to the discretion of the Instructor. Hair secured away from the face. Tan slip-on jazz shoes. Character heels are worn for Level IV and V only. Tan Bloch Women’s Split-flex 2.5″ Heel Character Shoe.
Jazz Funk- all Levels
CLEAN sneakers or jazz shoes. Any athletic/dance attire is permitted. Hair secured away from the face. Please refrain from any other extra accessories such as necklaces, dangling earrings, bracelets, etc.
Contemporary/Modern/Lyrical- all Levels
Any color leotard, pink, tan or black tights. Leggings or athletic/dancewear shorts may be worn if they are fitted and a solid color. Dance bras, crop tops and athletic shirts may be worn if they are fitted and appropriate to the discretion of the Instructor. Hair secured away from the face.
Tap (Leap/Peak)
Any color leotard, pink, tan or black tights and black tap shoes. Tap shoes should be oxford style lace ups. Leggings or athletic/dancewear shorts may be worn if they are fitted and a solid color. Dance bras, crop tops and athletic shirts may be worn if they are fitted and appropriate to the discretion of the Instructor. Hair secured away from the face.
Boys Creative Movement
Black shorts and any color tank top or t-shirt tucked in. Black canvas or leather ballet shoes with black or white socks.
Boys Pre-Ballet through Fundamentals II
Black shorts or black tights with white or black tank top or t-shirt tucked in. Black canvas or leather ballet shoes with black or white socks.
Boys Level I-V Ballet
Black Tights and white fitted shirt tucked in. Black canvas or leather ballet shoes.
Boys Jazz and Broadway
Any solid color shirt. Athletic shorts and pants may be worn instead of tights if they are fitted and a solid color. Black slip-on jazz shoes.
Boys Contemporary
Any solid color shirt. Athletic shorts and pants may be worn instead of tights if they are fitted and a solid color.
